Starting from Torrevecchia Pia, the journey begins with a visit to the Torrevecchia Nature Oasis, located along the banks of the Lambro River. From here, by traversing country roads surrounded by fields and rural landscapes, you reach the village of Lardirago, where the impressive castle dominates the scenery. Not far away, the “Garzaia di Porta Chiossa” is home to numerous species of herons and other water birds, offering visitors a captivating natural spectacle.

The itinerary continues towards the Sant’Alessio Oasis, one of the first Italian centers dedicated to the protection and reintroduction of endangered animal species.
